interior design.
story: the gramercy place.
For this interior design project, my inspiration was driven by the client's unique journey and desire for transformation. Having recently moved from the peaceful suburbs to the fast-paced city of Los Angeles, she was looking for a space that would reflect her new lifestyle while still honoring her love for nature and tranquility.
This vision led to the creation of a space where sleek, modern design meets lush greenery, creating a harmonious environment that nurtures both her emotional well-being and her connection to nature. The following photos showcase the transformation, where nature and modernity blend to reflect a vibrant and grounded living experience.
dining room.
The dining space was the heart of this transformation, where my client envisioned not just a place to eat, but a space that would nurture her love for cooking, entertaining, and spending quality time with family and friends. This is the space she truly wanted to feel at home—where comfort meets style in a way that feels both inviting and sleek organic modern.

entryway.
Repurposing some of the client's own furniture was fun to create a welcoming and functional entryway. Working with the home’s current layout prompted serendipitous creativity. This beautiful piece of furniture became a signature element of the entryway—both elegant and functional, as it now serves as a stylish introduction setting the tone for the entire home.

living room.
The living room presented an exciting opportunity with the unique layout of the home, where there was no separate family room. The space needed to function as both a cozy area for family gatherings and as an elegant living space for entertaining. A seamless flow between the two functions was created while maintaining a sense of sophistication. The balance of both cold and warm tones created a natural "dance" in the space, with each element working in harmony.
